At the helm are Joe and Eduarda Silva, whose passion for authentic Portuguese cuisine and warm hospitality are the heartbeat of JEDAS. Supported by our children Daniel, Alex, and Samantha, we've created a cozy, community-centric atmosphere where every guest feels like part of the family. Joe Silva

Joe Silva is the backbone of JEDAS Café & Bistro. With a background in concrete and construction, Joe brings a strong work ethic and business acumen to the café. He started JEDA Concrete in 2005 and has since transitioned his entrepreneurial spirit to the food industry. When he's not overseeing operations, Joe enjoys spending quality time with his family. His vision for JEDAS is to offer a cozy place for the Strathroy community to gather and enjoy authentic Portuguese cuisine.

Eduarda Silva

Eduarda Silva, Joe's wife and business partner, is the heart and soul of JEDAS Café & Bistro. She shares Joe's entrepreneurial spirit and played a crucial role in the transition from concrete & rentals to café. Eduarda brings her Portuguese heritage to the forefront, ensuring that the café offers a genuine taste of Portugal. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new recipes and spending time with her children. Her philosophy is to provide a warm and welcoming environment for all.

Daniel Silva

Daniel Silva, the eldest son, is an integral part of the family business. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer service, Daniel ensures that every guest leaves with a smile. Outside of work, he enjoys working out at the gym and is an avid sports fan including soccer, basketball, and football. Daniel is excited to continue contributing to the family legacy.

Alex Silva

Alex Silva, the middle child, brings youthful energy and creativity to JEDAS Café & Bistro. Whether he's helping in the kitchen or interacting with customers, Alex's enthusiasm is contagious. In his free time like his brother Daniel, he enjoys working out at the gym and is also an avid sports fan including basketball and soccer. Alex is passionate about expanding the café's offerings and reaching new audiences.

Samantha Silva

Samantha Silva, the youngest in the family, is the inspiration behind some of the café's most popular items, like "Samantha's Waffle Wonderland." She brings a fresh perspective and endless creativity to the family business. Samantha enjoys baking and has a keen interest in culinary arts. She looks forward to growing with the family business and bringing new ideas to the table.

JEDA'S restaurant is great. It's a simple restaurant to stop in and grab a hearty breakfast or quick lunch. A friendly atmosphere and great staff. Homemade food which is very hard to find anymore.

Awesome food. I had catered for my wife's birthday party of 10. The chicken was just nice and crispy and the roast beef and Parisienne potatoes were delicious. The price by the way is very reasonable and I will definitely call on them again.

JEDAS is a hidden gem! Their Spicy Bifana and fries hit the spot every time! The service is always fantastic due in large part to Pam. The cafe's atmosphere is lively and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal or mobile workers to get work done.
